April 8, 2011: Hampden Engineering Makes Available $150,000 Grant for HVACR Education

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. - Hampden Engineering, a leader in HVAC educational training equipment, has made available a grant to educational institutions who offer EPA Section 608 Certification testing through the ESCO Institute. The total value of the grant to all educational institutions is up to $150,000.

This grant will provide one free HVAC Excellence Employment Ready online examination for each student who participates in an EPA Section 608 Certification online exam available from the ESCO Institute at www.escoinst.com/Training/Epa608.aspx.

According to HVAC Excellence, its Employment Ready certifications provide post secondary students and new technicians with tangible evidence of accomplishment and instructors with tools to improve learning. This certification helps identify individuals who have successfully attained the knowledge necessary to enter the HVACR workforce.
