April 25, 2005: Restaurant Program Offers Maintenance And Repair Services

BETHESDA, Md. - A new national program from DineAssuredâ„¢ is offering restaurants complete maintenance and repair services at a fixed price.

Restaurant veteran Mark Bucher, co-founder of DineAssured, says the company's programs offer restaurants the opportunity to save money, streamline operations, stabilize the unpredictable costs of maintenance and repair, and relieve themselves of the hassles of equipment repair. "Our customers typically save from 10 to 30 percent with our program," he said. "Once restaurant operators understand our program, what it offers, and how much they will benefit, both financially and operationally, they come on board."

Features of DineAssured's programs include preventive maintenance and other routine tasks, and an embedded insurance component which provides for risk management. Restaurants receive a customized program where they call a central number and equipment problems are taken care of by either a national network of certified vendors or the restaurants' own in-house vendors.

DineAssured's programs include coverage for all parts and labor related to equipment repair, all preventive maintenance on covered equipment, emergency equipment rental, emergency ice delivery, and equipment replacement due to failure. Programs can be structured to cover the maintenance and repair of HVAC, point-of-sale and computer systems, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.

According to the company, restaurant chains and operators that have signed with DineAssured include Houston's, Wolfgang Puck, Charlie Palmer group, Checkers, and Taco Bell.
