WESTMINSTER, Md. - Manufacturers’ representative International Technology Group LLC (ITG) - HVAC & Environmental Services Division has announced the addition of MAXAIR and Aircuity to the companies it represents. According to ITG, this adds to its specialized HVAC product offerings with equipment to assist in reducing client’s energy consumption and improving IAQ along with occupancy comfort. ITG’s application engineers serve the engineering, contracting, and building owner community of the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., metropolitan areas.

MAXAIR manufactures unit ventilators specifically designed for applications where low sound levels are required such as educational facilities. The MAXAIR ventilators operate at less than NC 30 at two feet away and include custom classroom unit ventilators, as well as displacement and geothermal unit ventilators. According to the company, its products are engineered for ease of serviceability and low overall installation cost.

Aircuity has developed a building energy and indoor environment information platform, called OptiNet, that the company says delivers cost effective, accurate, and reliable knowledge on ventilation performance. OptiNet combines real-time building sensing technology with continuous web-based building performance data acquisition and analysis. According to the company, this continuous data analysis helps building owners and facility managers reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint while maintaining a healthy indoor environment for occupants. Applications include commercial offices, research facilities, labs, academic classrooms, hospitals, libraries, and sports arenas.
