WASHINGTON - The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has published The ABC's of EEO for Small Businesses and Supervisors, a guide to assist small businesses in developing business practices to ensure the prevention of workplace discrimination.

According to the EEOC, the ABC's of EEO is organized by the employment issues that employers face everyday such as hiring, harassment, accommodation, evaluations, promotions, discipline, discharge, and job references.

The guide also explains what you can expect and what you should do in the event that an applicant or employee files a charge of discrimination against your company. In addition, the reference contains a glossary of terms, helpful checklists, and reference and resource lists for further assistance.

Available as a CD or in print version, The ABC's of EEO for Small Businesses and Supervisors costs $14.95.
