April 12, 2007: Network '07 to Show Contractors How to Improve Their Business

FALLS CHURCH, Va. - Through a variety of speakers, seminars, networking events, and one-on-one interaction, plumbing-heating-cooling contractors will explore the latest ways to improve their business at this fall’s Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association (PHCC) annual convention in Anaheim, Calif. Network ’07, offered in conjunction with the American Supply Association (ASA) convention, is scheduled for Oct. 24-27.

For contactors looking for ideas on how to use today’s Web-based commerce in their companies, Oct. 25 keynote speaker Terry Jones will offer real-world examples of how to use electronic technology successfully. Then there will be a number of opportunities to participate in contractor-focused seminars on topics such as financial management, employee recruiting/retention, marketing, insurance, and code issues.

The event will continue Oct. 26 with a supply chain workshop in the morning, networking luncheon, and Channel Marketplace tabletop session. During the Channel Marketplace, contractors will have the opportunity to talk with their manufacturer and wholesaler partners and vendors about the latest industry/product trends, and also share ideas on how to work together more efficiently and profitably so that all parties benefit.

There also will be a number of networking and social events, beginning with a grand opening reception on Oct. 24 and ending with closing festivities Oct. 26. Also, optional tours of California sites will be offered Oct. 27.

This will be the third “Network” event, which combines the annual conventions of PHCC and ASA.
