The company upgraded its entire direct gas-fired product line to a new generation of DDC controls. Control schemes include discharge temperature control, room temperature control, room temperature control with intelligent room sensors, and building pressure control. All of these control schemes can also be accessed and controlled via the Internet using a client-server relationship should the user choose to order that option. The DDC controls include extensive diagnostics, runtime statistics, and multiple sensors to provide even greater system control than in the past, said the manufacturer. The Adaptaire DDC controls use BACnet as their native protocol but can be configured for N2, Modbus, or LonTalk. Point-to-point communications via a four-line LCD panel or a laptop computer is also available.
