TYLER, Texas - Eight American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning independent distributors were honored for their outstanding business performance in 2009 at the company’s annual Pinnacle Awards event. The presentation, which honors top distributors in HVAC from throughout the United States and Canada, was part of a celebration held at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Dallas. Jamie Byrne, vice president of sales for American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning, presented the awards.

“Our top performers deserve all the recognition we can give them,” said Byrne. “Not only did they increase sales and market share over the previous year, but they also excelled in every other measurable area of their business. They have all reached a new pinnacle of success and we’re honored to have them on our team.”

American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning’s Pinnacle Award winner for group one was ACES A/C Supply Inc., Houston. Mike Davenport, president, and David Collins, vice president of ACES, accepted the award. The runner up was ACES A/C Supply Inc. North, Carrollton, Texas.

The winner for group two was Lyon, Conklin & Co. Inc., Richmond, Va. Troy Kingsbury, general manager and Robert Crawford, sales manager of Lyon Conklin, accepted the award. The runner-up was Northeastern Supply Inc., Baltimore.

The group three winner was EMCO Plumbing & Heating Supplies, a division of EMCO Corp., Vancouver, Canada. Gary Fabbro, senior manager of EMCO accepted the award. Duncan Supply Co. Inc., Indianapolis, was the runner up.

The group four winner was Wolff Bros. Supply Inc., Medina, Ohio. Dave Chenowith, sales manager and Dave Artrip, general manager of Wolff Bros., accepted the award. VP Supply Corp., Rochester, N.Y., was the runner up.
