The Whole House Fan floats on springs, the manufacturer states, and a canvas transition between shutter and fan ensures silent operation by eliminating solid installation that transmits vibration and noise to the structure. Features of the unit include safety fuse cutoff switch, two-speed motor with thermal overload protection, and epoxy powder coat finish. The fan is available in 24-, 30-, and 36-in. propeller diameters. Model Chelsea HVB Whole House Fan has an airflow range from 29,000 to 9,750 cfm and can be wall- or ceiling-mounted. Time switches, temperature switches, wall louvers, and automatic or motorized ceiling shutters are available accessories.
