AGC Endorses Masters Degree

WASHINGTON - The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) endorsed North Carolina State University’s, Raleigh, N.C., Master of Science and Civil Engineering degree, specializing in construction management (MCM). The program was evaluated by AGC judges for strength of core courses, electives, future viability, and cost.

“AGC is committed to educating future construction professionals,” said Stephen Sandherr, AGC’s CEO. “North Carolina State University is a proven example of dedication to that goal.”

Since the inception of the endorsement program, AGC has endorsed four other master’s degree programs: Clemson University, Iowa State University, Purdue University, and Arizona State University in conjunction with Northern Arizona University. The programs are aimed at providing an advanced educational experience to prepare future leaders and managers in the construction industry with special emphasis on distance learning and industry-experienced faculty. Endorsed programs receive a letter of recognition, co-branding opportunities with AGC, and shared exhibit booth space at AGC’s Annual Convention.
