Arlington, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is currently seeking submissions for a new showcase of contractors who perform good works in their local communities.

“From collecting canned goods to installing HVAC systems for low-income or elderly people, HVACR contractors have one thing in common — they all have big hearts and a desire to make their communities better places,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president and CEO. “ACCA wants to collect their stories and showcase outstanding ACCA member contractors on our Web site to highlight all of the good that the HVACR industry does for towns and families nationwide.” Stalknecht also said that the ACCA Community Service Showcase will help contractors who are looking to implement a public service campaign to get ideas they can use in their own towns and cities.
