MoreARLINGTON, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America has initiated a 60-day American National Standards Institute (ANSI) public review and comment period for its “Residential Load Calculations” Manual J, 1.10, Version 4.
“Having ACCA’s Residential Load Calculations Manual J go through the ANSI review process is just one more example of our commitment to technical excellence,” said Michael Honeycutt, ACCA senior vice president. “ANSI is a well-respected organization, and we are honored to be working with them in this process.”
According to ACCA, ANSI approval of these standards is intended to verify principles of openness and due process that has been followed in the approval of Manual J.
