PerfectPleat Ultra, an addition to the PerfectPleat line, contains MERV 8 DuraFlex® media, which provides MERV 8 efficiency without the use of an electrostatic charge, states the manufacturer. The Intersept® antimicrobial has been incorporated into each filter to preserve the media throughout its service life, the company says. The PerfectPleat Ultra is available in 1- and 2-inch depths. According to the manufacturer, it can be identified by blue media tint on the air-leaving side of the filter.
