NEW YORK — Broadscale Group, an investment firm working with leading energy corporations to help commercialize the most promising innovations, has announced Johnson Controls as its newest network member. Johnson Controls joins previously announced members Duke Energy, General Electric, and National Grid.

As part of the Broadscale network, Johnson Controls will have access to investment and commercialization opportunities with growth-stage companies. Broadscale said its commercialization platform aligns the strategic interests of industry leaders and growth companies to overcome the challenges that have made it difficult for important energy innovations to succeed.
