Nov. 7, 2012: Heat Pipe Technology Moves to New, Larger Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility
The new HPT facility, which is 45 percent larger than its existing Gainesville, Fla., facility, will provide expanded manufacturing capabilities specifically for retrofit projects, an area where the company has seen its strongest growth. In the new, expanded facility, HPT said it will be able to engage in expanded R&D and full-scale product testing of its passive energy recovery and dehumidification systems. At the new facility, HPT will also expand its Innovation Center, where advanced heat pipe technology research is conducted.
The HPT relocation to the new facility from its current Gainesville facility is scheduled to be completed in November 2012. At that time, all of HPT’s operations will be based in Tampa and the Gainesville office will be closed. During the transition time, the company said there will be no disruption in production, technical services, or support.
