CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. — Bay Area Air Conditioning recently received the 2012 President’s Award from Carrier for its quality, leadership, and excellence in the HVAC industry.

One of Carrier’s highest honors for its dealers, the President’s award is given to Carrier factory authorized dealers who achieve excellence in product promotions and deliver superior customer satisfaction. Recipients of this award exemplify Carrier’s model for operational excellence, business effectiveness, and delivering the best in cutting-edge technology to consumers.

Bay Area Air Conditioning president and owner Dave Hutchins attributes much of his success to taking care of his customers, employees, and his community.

“If you make a good living in your community, you owe something back to that community,” he said.

Hutchins and his employees have logged numerous hours of local and national community service, supporting the National Home Builders Association, Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, Scouts of America, Key Training Center, local chamber of commerce events, and others.

“This year’s recipients achieved their business goals while successfully representing Carrier to their communities and continually focusing on customer satisfaction,” said Chris Nelson, vice president, sales and marketing, Carrier Residential and Commercial Systems. “Winners will be able to capitalize on publicity, marketing, and merchandising opportunities that are unique to President’s award recipients and therefore continue to shape, grow, and succeed in their business.”
