The HE-RV Series forced-draft gas-fired boilers offers an efficiency of 85 percent, with the high combustion efficiency resulting from a uniquely designed integrated surface heat extractor, the company says. These boilers feature 7 square feet of heating surface per boiler horsepower. They operate under normal operating temperatures, without needing to provide for the expense of complications of special venting and/or condensing material. The series is available in eight models with inputs from 3,500 to 8,000 MBtuh. The “flexible water tube” design provides for fast internal circulation for maximum heat transfer and operating efficiency. The flexibility of the bent water tube design also eliminates all possible damage from thermal shock and from stresses caused by poor or unequal internal circulation, states the manufacturer.
