The CW® version of the 1581A ductboard closure tape has been reformulated for cold-weather use. The new acrylic adhesive tape is extremely conformable and applies easily to both fibrous and sheet metal ducts on flat and irregular surfaces, said the manufacturer. Although the tape is primarily used for sealing fiberglass ductboard, it can also be used on metal, metal connections, flexible duct, and flexible duct connections to ductboard and metal duct. The tape performs in temperatures down to 10ºF (-12ºC).
