• Maxitrol Company (Southfield, Mich.), a manufacturer of gas pressure regulators and electronic gas modulation systems, has promoted Jeffrey DeWitt (right) to vice president of engineering. DeWitt’s responsibilities include management of production engineering, design/tooling operations, and the quality assurance department. He also is responsible for supervision and budgeting of capital expenditures for manufacturing and special projects.

• Worthington Cylinders (Columbus, Ohio) has promoted Kyle Takavitz to Northwest territory manager. Takavitz is now responsible for leading the company's sales efforts in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Idaho, and the Canadian province of British Columbia.
