PORTLAND, Ore. — Klein Tools and BlueVolt® announce the launch of Klein Tools University, a new online training resource for professional tradesmen in the electrical, construction, telecommunications, and electronics fields.

“Klein Tools is very excited about our partnership with BlueVolt and the recent launch of our online training program,” said Steve Ratkovich, director of training at Klein Tools.

“Our goal for Klein Tools University was to reach both our internal and external audiences and we have now succeeded. Capturing our company’s legacy knowledge for future employees was our objective for internal training, and communicating our value proposition and general product knowledge was our objective for our external training.”

Klein Tools University includes training on Klein Tools’ company history, products, and product applications. Built on the BlueVolt mLMS™ learning management platform, courses come alive with a mix of video, interactive instruction, and testing designed to engage the user and present information in a useful way.

“We had our own training system for a year before we created Klein Tools University,” said Steve Ratkovich. “BlueVolt’s system was more cost effective and better for our end users because they provide great customer service and tech support.”

Lisa Bordeaux, director of partner development at BlueVolt noted that, “Klein Tools University, which is free for all users, will continue to expand with new courses to benefit the end-user. The mLMS platform provides powerful reports that allow Klein Tools to monitor training results in real-time and to ensure courses are effective and valuable. There is no limit to when people can access the training because it is available 24/7, from any place in the world.”
