COURSE TITLE: HVAC Controls & Air Distribution

SPONSORING ORGANIZATION: American Trainco Inc.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: During this seminar students will learn how to “control” their controls, and how to use fundamental air distribution principles for achieving consistent HVAC comfort and efficiency in buildings, plants, and facilities. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a training certificate and 0.7 American Trainco Continuing Education Units for each day attended (1.4 credits for two days). COURSE TITLE: Planning and Designing Geothermal Systems

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The class explores various system types, describes the characteristics of successful projects, and develops a timeline to organize key players. Hands-on design problems using GHPCalc software help attendees learn design best practices and see design requirements from start to finish. Topics include how heat pumps work, ground connection sizing, ground water and aquifers, well sizing and spacing, ground heat exchange design, system cost, and operating performance. www.heatspring.com
