PurchasingCenter.com partners with heating and electrical distributors

CHICAGO, IL — Purchasing Center.com, a full-service, online marketplace for buyers of industrial and facility supplies, announced partnerships with WESCO Distribution and Ferguson Enterprises for the distribution of their maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products.

WESCO Distribution, Inc., a distributor of electrical and data communication products, and Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., wholesale-distributors of plumbing, heating, and cooling supplies, will leverage PurchasingCenter.com’s buyer-centric model and established customer base to reach mid-sized companies.

Since launching last October, PurchasingCenter.com says it has 25 suppliers and more than 4,000 registered users. In addition to providing industrial buyers a source for buying MRO products, the Web site provides news and information, auction goods, expert advice, and job listings.
