TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Danfoss Turbocor and Ron Conry, the inventor and founder of Turbocor Compressors, jointly announced that Conry has launched a new venture to develop new technologies and create solutions for energy generation and conservation.

“I’m very excited about exploring other opportunities outside of Danfoss Turbocor, creating innovative solutions in the energy field,” said Conry. “At the same time, I’m looking forward to staying in Tallahassee and remaining connected to Danfoss Turbocor.”

The newly formed innovation company, Verdicorp, will focus on research and development and on the creation of new, cutting-edge products within the energy industry. In the meantime, Conry will continue to serve as a senior technology advisor to Danfoss Turbocor, which he founded in 1994.

“It’s a win-win situation for both Ron and us,” said Ricardo Schneider, president of Danfoss Turbocor. “Danfoss Turbocor is evolving from an entrepreneur to a world-class manufacturer. We will focus on serving our customers and strengthening our product portfolio and position in the comfort and process-cooling OEM business, while Ron is developing breakthrough technologies for the energy generation and conservation market.”
