CHARLESTON, S.C. — Protective Coatings Group (PCG) and Demilec (USA) have announced the formation of an exclusive industry alliance providing a combined service that utilizes both company’s leading edge solutions to maximize insulating values while preventing mold growth in the building envelope.

The two companies intend to expand the use of PCG’s flagship product FortiCel, along with several other PCG mold preventative solutions, through Demilec’s nationwide network of certified polyurethane foam insulation contractors. According to PCG managing director, Clint Allen, the partnership allows for PCG’s products “to be made available to the best insulators in the country. We are elated over Demilec (USA)’s commitment to the building industry and to the inclusion of our technologies into their product suite.”

“This is a dynamic partnership that will move the industry forward through value innovation and market-leading differentiation,” said Dave Lall, vice president and general manager for Demilec (USA). He stated that since both companies are using identical delivery equipment and have the same point of install, the services of PCG and Demilec (USA) will integrate seamlessly to provide additional peace of mind to contractors and owners alike.

Allen added, “We share the same guiding principles and commitments to indoor air quality and improved building design, as well as the same dedication to quality, so the alliance between PCG and Demilec (USA) makes perfect sense. We couldn’t be more excited to have the Demilec family of installers as a leading force in our installation network.”
