TROY, Mich. — A free hour-long webinar titled “Greenhouse Gases, Climate Change, and R-22: What’s the Next Phase?” will take place on June 2, at 1 p.m. EDT.

Featured panelists include Dr. Jurgen Suss, vice president research and development, and Jeffrey Staub, application engineering manager, both of Danfoss. Robert Beverly, editor of Engineered Systems, will moderate the event. The webinar is presented by Danfoss, Engineered Systems, and The NEWS.

As the HVACR industry faces increasing pressure to reduce CO2 emissions and accelerate refrigerant phaseouts, system designers and contractors will face many challenges to design, install, maintain, and service refrigeration and air conditioning systems in diverse applications in accordance with new legislative standards.

By attending this hour-long webinar you will: Gain a high-level perspective on greenhouse gas emissions and global warming; learn about technology options to minimize greenhouse gas emissions; establish an understanding of the accelerated R-22 phaseout schedule and the implications; and hear about advantages for retrofitting existing systems and installing new systems. During the webinar, attendees can submit questions that will be answered by the panelists.

The event will be archived for 12 months for viewing, but you must register prior to June 2.
