Arkansas city looks to bring back duct leakage tests
March 12, 2018
City officials in Little Rock, Arkansas, are looking to re-establish HVAC and ductwork testing standards for residences, according to an article from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s website.
The story says performance standards for ductwork installations were deleted in a 2014 update to the state’s energy code. The proposed ordinance notes that duct leakage is a top contributor to energy loss.
