NuTone releases refrigerant for small systems
HVAC equipment maker Nordyne
has begun offering small packaged 13-SEER equipment using R-410A under its
NuTone brand.
It recently upgraded all small packaged horizontal air conditioners with a 13 seasonal energy-efficiency rating from R-22 to non-ozone-depleting R-410A.
“NuTone is committed to early R-410A changeover,” said Jeff Gamache, product manager for packaged equipment. “These 13-SEER products join NuTone’s large packaged equipment line, which was converted to R-410A earlier this spring.”
