Sno Gem Inc. has introduced what it says is the roofing industry’s first membrane-coated and pre-skirted continuous bar snow retention system. The Sno Barricade Membrane-Coated Diamond Series system is made to protect pedestrians, landscaping, gutters and outdoor mechanical equipment from snow and ice slides. It is available with a pre-skirted target patch heat-welded directly to a PVC- or TPO-coated base plate — available in several colors. With the inner weld done at the factory, the installer heat welds Sno Gem’s target patch to the roof membrane, reducing labor costs and ensuring water tightness.
