YORK, PA — York International’s Unitary Products Group has announced the divestiture of its Baltimore/ Washington branch operations to United Products Distributors (UPD), and the appointment of UPD as York-brand distributor for the Baltimore/ Washington area. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“United Products Distributors has been a premier distributor of Carrier Unitary Products for many years,” stated Matt Peterson, vice president of sales and marketing for York Unitary Products Group. “UPD’s interest in becoming a York distributor is certainly an indication of the strength of our York brand and products, as well as confirmation of our strategy in supporting the independent contractor.”
