York International Recognizes Distributors

PHOENIX - York International Corporation's Unitary Products Group (UPG) presented awards to its top distributors at the company's National Distributor/Sales Meeting held here. Air Cold Supply, Newport News, Va., received top honors as the 2003 National Distributor of the Year. Awards were granted in a total of 14 performance categories.

The best marketing honors went to the York branch in Philadelphia and to York distributor Air Cold in Azusa, Calif. The Master Group L.P., Boucherville, Quebec, was recognized for the largest segment growth in the commercial category, while Familian Northwest, Portland, Ore., earned the award for largest segment growth on the residential side.

The distributor with the best product mix was Upstate Systems, Rochester, N.Y., and the York branch with the best product mix was the Toronto branch located in Oakville, Ontario.

The largest sales growth designation went to the Phoenix branch of York and Familian Northwest. The Regional York Branch of the Year award went to the New Jersey branch in Edison, N.J., and the California branch in Stockton, Calif.

York designated its Midwest branch in Elmhurst, Ill., as its National York Branch of the Year, as well as the branch with the best Libertiesâ„¢ participation. Best Liberties participation for a distributor went to Johnson Supply in Houston.

Best co-marketing went to Empire Gas in Denver, and the St. Louis branch of York. Duncan Supply in Indianapolis received the award for the best training by a York distributor, and the York Central Region (Midwest branch) received the award for the best training by a York branch.
