York Distributor, Dealer Awards Announced

NORMAN, Okla. - York® distributor, Refrigerative Supply, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, and York dealer Rod Johnson Air Inc., San Jose, Calif., took the top prizes at the 2006 York National Sales Meeting in Phoenix.

Refrigerative Supply earned the Distributor of the Year Award for the best overall performance in 14 different sales categories. Of those categories, the company captured the York Affinity Sales Mix Award for the highest York Affinity sales mix of residential purchases.

Rod Johnson, principal/owner of Rod Johnson Air Inc., accepted the York Liberties Plus Elite Dealer of the Year Award. The company also earned five other awards: Marketing Dealer of the Year, Color/College Panel Marketing Excellence, National Residential Dealer Volume Leadership, New Commercial Contractor of the Year, and New Dealer of the Year.

“We’re thrilled to have Refrigerative Supply and Rod Johnson Inc. as part of the York heating and air conditioning team,” said Mickey Smith, York brand manager. “Both companies should be commended for their outstanding sales and service and for helping grow the York brand.”

Also winning awards were Climatic Corp., Columbia, S.C., Co-Marketing Participation and Co-Marketing Growth; Chicago branch of York, Business Training University (BTU) Training and Commercial Volume; Virginia Air Distributors, Richmond, Va., BTU Territory Manager Training; Oklahoma branch of York, Consumer Program Participation; AirCold/Webb, Phoenix, Liberties Plus Volume; California branch of York, Liberties Growth; CFM Distributors, Kansas City, Mo., Liberties Plus Focus; Colgan/Ferguson, New Orleans, Extended Warranty; United Products Distributors, Baltimore, Source 1®; AirCold, Sacramento, Calif., Commercial Growth.
