The GPD 315/V7 adjustable-frequency ac drive is available in both NEMA 1 and NEMA 4X/12 enclosures in a range from 1/8 to 10 hp. It allows selection of open-loop vector or volts/Hertz control to suit the application, says the manufacturer. The drive features a digital operator with a four-digit LED status display, and can be programmed for almost 200 parameters. Other standard features of the drive include seven standard multifunction inputs that access 17 preset speeds, an analog input, a multifunction Form C relay output, two multifunction open collector outputs, and an analog output. An RS-485 Modbus RTU network communication port that allows up to 32 nodes on a single network is also standard.
