READING, England - Wolseley plc has acquired four new businesses in the United States, Britain, and the Netherlands. The company purchased Cal-Steam Supply Inc., Hayward, Calif.; Guntersville Fabrication & Sprinkler Co. Inc. Guntersville, Ala; Guntersville Pipe and Supply, Birmingham, Ala.; and Kopex Groothandel, Zeist, Netherlands. The acquisitions totaled approximately $127.8 million. “We are delighted to announce these four bolt-on acquisitions, which build on our successful growth strategy across Europe and North America,” said Chip Hornsby, group chief executive of Wolseley.
