DALLAS - WIT & Co. reported another record year in sales and rebates for 2004. Chris Lute, president of Lute Supply and WIT's HQ office, confirmed that WIT distributor sales were up more than 20 percent. WIT also praised its distributors for their industry involvement, noting that 51 were members in American Subcontractors Association (ASA) and 22 were members in Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI).

WIT's annual Distributor/Vendor Conference in Dallas brought together more than 650 WIT distributors and preferred vendor partners for three intensive days of negotiating and networking. Prior to the vendors' arrival, WIT's committees met for face-to-face discussions and the remainder of the distributors joined them for a general session "state of the union" meeting and other networking sessions.

WIT's 2006 meeting will be held in Orlando, Fla., during the week of March 6.
