The West Michigan Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) received the Award of Excellence in Newsletter Publishing during IFMA’s Awards of Excellence banquet on Friday, Oct. 26, at IFMA’s World Workplace 2007 Conference & Expo in New Orleans.
The West Michigan Chapter of IFMA recently reinvented its newsletter. The first issue of the new publication was distributed in winter 2006. The updated newsletter now includes a variety of in-depth articles supporting daily facility needs, networking tools, a career focus, and technical information, maintaining a consistent layout and aesthetic. Distributed electronically, the newsletter also displays a dedication to environmental stewardship.
The West Michigan Chapter received the award in the small chapter category.
