NEW YORK - Inside the Security Council, a United Nations guide pointed out a few facts and figures to a group of invited guests of ITT, which held an exclusive evening at the United Nations Tuesday evening after the close of the first day of the 2008 AHR Expo, being held at the Javits Center in New York City.

Upon arrival at the United Nations, guests of ITT were privy to cuisine from around the world in the Delegates Dining Room. A behind-the-scenes tour of the United Nations followed. Guests were given a brief overview of the organization and its structure. The main part of the tour consisted of a visit to the Security Council and the General Assembly Hall, the largest and best-known room. Each tour guide explained the function, composition, and current actions being undertaken by the UN.

After the tours, entertainment was provided by the Gene Press Jazz Trio.
