ORLANDO, Fla. - When in Orlando, do as the tourists do - and drop in on Shamu the killer whale. That's what a few hundred guests of ITT Industries did on Monday night during the 2005 AHR Expo. The Morton Grove, Ill., company hosted a cocktail party and reception at the popular Seaworld tourist attraction.

Guests were treated to food, refreshments, rides on a helicopter simulator, tours of the whale and walrus exhibits, visits by tropical birds and penguins, and a special killer whale show featuring the world-famous Shamu.

Penguins were invited guests at the ITT Seaworld party.
Mark Handzel, director of U.S. Sales, HVAC & Plumbing Products for the ITT Fluid Handling Division, told The News that his company's annual AHR Expo party continues to be one of the hottest tickets in town because the company always comes up with a special theme and celebrity guests - even if the celebrity isn't always human.

"These parties are a good place for our distributors and their customers to have a good time," he added.
