WaterFurnace Hosts National Sales Meeting

INDIANAPOLIS - More than 400 WaterFurnace International Inc. dealers, employees, and vendors gathered at the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis recently. The manufacturer of residential and commercial geothermal and water-source heat pumps hosted its 28th annual national sales meeting. Attendance marked a new record for the event, and WaterFurnace considered it a success.

“Our annual sales meetings provide the company with another opportunity to support our dealers with important product information and marketing tools designed to help them service their customers and achieve their individual sales goals,” said Phil Albertson, WaterFurnace vice president of dealer sales.

“The time we spend together also presents important networking opportunities for our dealers as they share their experiences with one another and embrace solutions to the challenges they face.”

The first session in the two-day event included a welcome message and state of the industry report from the WaterFurnace CEO, Tom Huntington, and continued with information regarding new products the company plans to introduce later this year. Following a discussion of new marketing programs and opportunities, attendees were invited to participate in a series of breakout sessions. The breakout sessions fostered a classroom-like environment, allowing opportunity for questions and discussion.

Monday evening concluded with dinner and an awards banquet where top-performing dealers were honored.

“WaterFurnace continues to experience incredible growth, even as many segments of the U.S. economy are struggling,” said Albertson. “These awards recognize the contributions our dealers have made to that success during the past year.”

Outstanding Sales honors went to Peters Heating & Air Conditioning, with multiple locations throughout Illinois and Missouri, and the award for Top Sales for a single location was presented to Toennies Service Co., Albers, Ill. The awards ceremony also recognized members of the $1 Million Club, including Arronco Comfort Air Inc., Burlington, Ky.; J.K. Mechanical Inc., Willow Street, Pa.; and Rehagen Heating & Cooling Inc., Westphalia, Mo.
