The 3243 high-temperature foil tape is designed for flue and plenum applications. The 2-mil (50-micron), dead soft aluminum tape with a high-performance acrylic adhesive is specifically designed for extreme temperature environments. Rated at 450°F, this tape contains tested and approved mold-inhibiting agents, says the manufacturer. The minimum application temperature for the tape is 10°. The tape has a tensile strength of 27 pounds per inch. The standard roll size is 3 inches by 50 yards, packed 16 per case.
