Mean Green is a nonflammable, pressure-sensitive, cylinderized adhesive used for adhering duct liner insulation to ductwork. The adhesive is formulated for quick tack and strong bonds that resist heat, cold, and moisture. It is tinted green and sprays in a web or lace pattern for a low soak-in rate. The adhesive is available in 12-, 40-, and 375-pound cylinders. Mean Green can be used with the company's 6-, 12-, or 18-foot hose and large spray gun. It has been approved by the California Environmental Protection Agency. The adhesive is the only one in the HVACR industry that meets DOT 39 NRC regulations, claims the company.
