UVDI Hires New VP Sales and Marketing

VALENCIA, Calif. - Ultraviolet Devices Inc. (UVDI), a manufacturer of ultraviolet (UV) products for air and water treatment, recently announced the hiring of Tony Wisniewski as its new vice president for sales and marketing.

Wisniewski comes to UVDI with over 16 years of experience in management, sales, and marketing with companies serving commercial and industrial customers. Most recently, he was the general manager for the aftermarket service of ABB Robotics in Auburn Hills, Mich. There, he was partially responsible for helping to grow that business by over 75 percent during a four-year period.

Previous to ABB, Wisniewski spent over 12 years with Ingersoll-Rand Co., working in its compressed air solutions business. He served as its global manager for air treatment products and also held roles in regional sales management, distribution sales management, and marketing.

Under the Altru-Vâ„¢ brand, UVDI markets a full line-up of UV-C products for the commercial HVACR market. UVDI also provides product design, development, and manufacturing for OEM customers that are sold under different brand names.
