UV Resources: NEMA 4X UVC Fixture

The new HVAC style SEF-N (single-ended) UVC fixture has a NEMA 4X rating. The housing incorporates three safety features to avoid accidental entry or exposure to UV: padlock eyelets lockout unwanted access, cover removal actuates an intrinsic switch to cut ballast power, and relamping requires de-energizing power. This package mounts indoors or out, endures severe weather, accepts lamps 12 to 36 inches long, and easily fits any HVAC system, the company says. According to the manufacturer, the SEF-N is perfect for schools who want to provide better IAQ for children, lower their maintenance costs, and benefit from potential energy savings.
