The gas pressure test kit is used to measure gas pressure across appliance manifolds and can be used to test gas stoves, furnaces, dryers, and other gas appliances. According to the manufacturer, a gas pressure test kit of this type eliminates the mess of water and the need for mercury. It includes a sensitive diaphragm gauge that is calibrated in inches of water column to provide a high degree of accuracy. To use, attach the rubber tube nipple to the manifold and set the regulated pressure for natural or LP gas. Two kits available: 45503, scale: 0-35 inches water column (wc), 0-20 ounces per inch² and 45506, scale: 0-15 inches wc, 8.6 ounces per inch². The kit also includes a brass fitting and a plastic carrying case with handle.
