United Rentals Awards Winners

GREENWICH, Conn. - United Rentals Inc. announced the four winners of its Consider It Won Sweepstakes.

Leslie Rue Mandeville of James O. Rue Construction, Palm Desert, Calif.; Dawn Bikin of Citywide Contracting, Phoenix; Carlos Silveira of Tiercon, Stoney Creek, Ont.; and Kevin Nesbit of E.S. Boulos Co., Topsham, Maine, won all-expense-paid trips for two to a championship event for Indy car racing, baseball, football, and hockey, respectively. Mandeville was at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 24 to watch Helio Castroneves win the championship for the third time.

“Our company has done business with United Rentals for a long time and the sweepstakes sounded like fun, but I never expected to win,” she said. “It turned out to be a fabulous, heart-pumping experience, and my husband and I had an opportunity to tour some of the historic sites in the area the day before the race.” The sweepstakes was launched in March and drew thousands of entrants through the closing date of April 30, 2009. Open to all qualifying individuals, including contractors, subcontractors, remodelers, and facility managers, sweepstakes winners were selected by random drawing in May.

“The response to Consider It Won has been outstanding,” said Elise Arsenault, vice president of Marketing for United Rentals. “It was great to see so many of our customers participate, and to have an opportunity to introduce United Rentals to new members of the industries we serve. We are thrilled to congratulate our four winners.”
