A new cleaning fluid for air conditioning and refrigeration systems offers enhanced cleaning, increased thermal stability, and a favorable safety and regulatory profile, says the company. Called Emkarate™ RL Opti-Flush, tests show that the product can remove up to 99% of deposits due to contamination, the manufacturer says. In addition, the fluid is said to be biodegradable, nonvolatile, nonflammable, and nonhazardous. It is compatible with currently used lubricants and has been tested to ensure compatibility with system components such as metal parts and seals, the company says.
