Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006: Data-Basics Demonstrates New Wireless Field Service Software

CHICAGO - Data-Basics is demonstrating its latest wireless field service software, TechAnywhere 2.0, at the New Product Technology Theater at the 2006 AHR Expo. Tim Carcione, senior product engineer for Data-Basics, is presenting the software at noon today in Theater A of the McCormick Center.

TechAnywhere 2.0 is designed to supply technicians with mobile access to work orders using an array of wireless devices such as tablet PCs and Windows CE devices. The tablet PC solution combines the look of paper work orders with enhanced functionality, such as drop-down boxes for accurate data entry, automatic conversion of handwriting to text, and online access to equipment history, notes, or specifications.

"We're excited to present TechAnywhere 2.0 at the HVACR industry's largest event," said Art Divell, CEO of Data-Basics. "With such a unique wireless field service software solution, you really have to see the software in action to appreciate it."

The product is a 2006 AHR Expo Innovation Awards honorable mention winner in the software category.

TechAnywhere 2.0 is an integrated component of SAM Proâ„¢ Enterprise, a complete service management, job costing, CRM, and mobile workforce solution for HVACR contractors.
