Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011: ecobee Announces Remote Sensor Module Now Available

LAS VEGAS - ecobee announced that its Remote Sensor Module is now available through its distribution partners. Compatible with both the ecobee Energy Management System and the ecobee Smart Thermostat, the Remote Sensor Module has been designed for increased automation and control.

“The Remote Sensor Module will enable ecobee customers to average temperatures, control humidity and measure CO2,” said Stuart Lombard, ecobee president and CEO. “Further, in commercial applications we are seeing our customers use the Remote Sensor Module in schools, churches, convenience stores, fast food restaurants and office buildings. The applications are as varied as our customers, from monitoring walk-in freezers to sending an alert if a door is opened.”
