Course Title: Install & Commissioning: VRV Systems

Location: Daikin-McQuay Long Island Training Center

Course Description: The course introduces the participant to the Daikin VRV family of HVAC systems, provides an overview of the VRV and inverter technologies, and presents the basic VRV installation and commissioning procedures, including actual hands-on training using operating VRV units and local controls. Topics covered include attributes and installation requirements for R-410A systems including the installation and service tools required; the unique designs and technologies involved in the Daikin VRV systems; the basic installation procedures for the VRV RefNet and refrigerant piping, condensers, indoor units, and local controls; a review of the Daikin Xpress piping reports for heat pump; and the VRV commissioning procedures and field settings in the remote controllers. The target audience for this course is commercial design-build contractors, municipal HVAC tradesmen, HVAC installation and startup crews, mechanical foremen/installation supervisors, and sales engineers/professional engineers.
