Honeywell announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United Nations (UN) Environment to help promote sustainable economic development and raise awareness on the importance of increasing energy efficiency in the region.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) announce the first public review of BSR/ASHRAE/ACCA 180 - 201x (Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systems).

IFS announced it has hired Darren Roos as the CEO of IFS. The appointment is effective April 1, 2018 and aligns with the retirement of Alastair Sorbie at the end of Q1 2018.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) Educational Institute Standards Task Team announced that ACCA Standard 12 - Home Evaluation and Performance Improvement - is approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Distech Controls announced a recent addition to the company’s leadership team. Scott Hamilton joins Distech Controls in the role of vice president, sales. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Scott will be responsible for sales channels across the Americas, Australia, and Asia, as well as the organization’s OEM channel and Distech Controls Energy Services.

Robert Hansen, president of Islandaire announced that Islandaire has moved to a new location at 500 Middle Country Road, Saint James, New York, 11780. The move was completed and the new larger facility opened for operation January 15th, 2018.
