NexRev LLC has announced the company’s entrance into the Canadian marketplace with a regional office located in Toronto. This follows on the heels of NexRev’s announcement of its Latin American headquarters in Mexico City and represents the next step in the company’s international expansion plan.
These single-package rooftop units are available in 50- to 65-ton cooling capacities. The units offer double-wall construction, single-point power connection, and efficiency ratings that exceed ASHRAE 90.1 standards.
More than half of U.S. commercial building space is cooled by packaged HVAC equipment, according to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). So it comes as no surprise that energy efficiency is the biggest trend driving the rooftop market.
On Dec. 17, 2015, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) finalized new negotiated energy conservation standards for commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, and commercial warm-air furnaces, otherwise known as rooftop units (RTUs).
