Thermo-Stack Flashing is a system for in-stalling ducts into wall cavities. It consists of a precision die-cut support frame that fits over the wall plate, holding the wall stack evenly spaced between the studs, the manufacturer says. According to the company, when the product is installed, it forms a tight seal to eliminate air leaks. The product is available for oval and rectangular ductwork in seven sizes. Screw holes are prepunched in the 26-gauge steel.
